wierd Feelings

Have you visited a place for the first time but felt like you have had already been to that place several times? Or you might have had an argument with someone with whom you had met for the first time, but tend to feel that this discussion had already taken place in the past. Whatever may be the situation, sometimes we get to experience perplexed situations probably due to the glitch in the brain. Can we call it Déjà vu?

When you hear the phrase, “glitch in the brain” what comes to your mind?

Well! A glitch in the brain causes us to experience déjà vu which means “already seen”. It is initially triggered in the temporal lobe of your brain that is responsible for memory formation and storage. A glitch in the brain occurs among people who are suffering from epileptic seizures as well as healthy people. Epilepsy seizures imply a dysfunctional neuron activity across the brain which disrupts the electrical impulses that ‘fire’ neurons. So, people who are suffering from temporal lobe epilepsy experience déjà vu. Similarly, the same abnormal electrical impulses that contribute to epilepsy can also be present among the healthy people. Nonetheless, there are other several weird things that you might have experienced in your life.

Nonetheless, there are other several weird things that you might have experienced in your life.

Take a look at these phenomena that may have happened to you.

Déjà Vu
This is a French word termed as “already seen”. The main characteristic of this phenomenon is that you tend to experience Déjà vu when it is occurring, rather than predicting it before or in future.

Déjà Vu

Deja Vecu
The term ‘Deja Vecu’ looks similar to déjà vu but actually differs from it. In ‘Deja Vecu’ , you not only feel that an incident has taken place before but experience that in a greater detail. Here, you may actually predict or feel as what is going to happen.

Deja Vecu

Deja Visite
While Déjà vu and Deja Vecu are related to your feelings towards an incident or an event, Deja Viste is related to a geographical place. For example, you visit a landscape near the countryside for the very first time but feel that you had already visited this place before.
Deja Visite is more related to the geographical relationship.

Deja Senti
Deja Senti is a feeling of having “already felt” triggered by a person or by reading and watching something. For example, you are satisfied with letting go of all your emotions by speaking it, but in fact, you actually haven’t even uttered a word.

Jamais Vu
Jamais Vu is the opposite of déjà vu. Here, you are unable to recognize a situation even though you are familiar with it. Example, you have met a person several times but does not momentarily recognize them.

Jamais Vu

Presque Vu
It is a strong feeling that you are about to experience – an epiphany that seldom comes. Epiphany is a moment when you suddenly get conscious about something that is very important to you. The sensation is usually distracting.

Presque Vu

Thus, all of us tend to experience rational feelings. Some of the feelings are familiar and overwhelming, while others might appear to be unfamiliar depending upon the type of the sensation.
